***Value Added Dance Experience***

Given the many benefits to pursuing a dance education at RDC, there is a cost. Dance falls somewhere between soccer and ice-skating in terms of overall expense for an activity. For a dancer interested in taking a single class at RDC, parents can expect to pay about $50 per month for a weekly class, another $100 or so for a year's worth of dancewear and shoes, about $75 for a recital costume. Items such as photos and participation in the recital are optional and left to the family's discretion. This cost does not vary significantly from the cost of other dance schools in rural areas.​

Monthly tuition covers weekly scheduled classes and instruction, and is determined by the number of hours each student is enrolled per week.
 
Add up the total hours of instruction per week for each student to find the corresponding tuition in the chart. Prices shown are the discounted rate when paid by Auto-Pay.

Tuition does not include the registration fee, dance wear, shoes, costumes, performance tickets, private lessons, camps, or special events.

Tuition Policy
Registration Fee

A non-refundable annual registration fee is due upon registration ($30 for the first student, $15 for each additional student, not to exceed $75 per family).
Preschool students who are determined to be unready for dance may receive a registration credit for the following season.
In the case of class discontinuation, either before or once a class begins, students will receive the option to transfer to another class. Registration fees are ONLY refundable if the class is cancelled PRIOR to beginning due to lack of registrants.

Tuition and Expense Policy

There are 3 easy ways to choose tuition payments: MONTHLY, BIANNUALLY, ANNUALLY.
If you pay ANNUALLY, you will receive one month free tuitionwhen paid by August 25.
If you pay BIANNUALLY, you will receive 2 weeks free tuition. Biannual payments must be made on August 25 and January 25.
Discounts will be lost and accounts will automatically be changed to a MONTHLY payment on all unpaid ANNUAL and BIANNUAL accounts.
Contact the studio in writing by Aug 24th to set up your annual or biannual payments.

Full monthly tuition is due by the 25th of the month prior to the month in which attendance is made (Ex: payment for November classes is due October 25th). Upon registration, payment of first months tuition is required prior to attending class.

Tuition is paid through automatic withdrawal (Auto-Pay) from your credit or debit card account. Tuition will be charged directly to your specified credit or debit card. We will accept cash, checks, or money orders for tuition payment. Please write your child’s name in the memo portion of the check. If you pay with cash, please ask for a receipt. Those who choose not to take advantage of Auto-Pay will not receive our Auto-Pay discount rate and will pay an additional $5.00 per dancer per class per month for tuition.

Payments received 7 days after the due date are subject to a $20 late fee. Tuition that is not received by the due date may result in your child being unable to attend classes. Understand that any outstanding balance must be brought current in order for the student to continue participating in classes, performances, and all other studio activities. You will still be responsible for paying any outstanding balance whether your child is in class or not. Understand that a student’s absence from class does not waive this late fee or any other charges due during a student’s absence.

It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to make sure that Rendezvous Dance & Cheer has an accurate credit card number and expiration date on file. In the event that a credit card has been compromised, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to immediately notify Rendezvous Dance & Cheer and provide us with another credit card number and expiration date.

All returned checks will be assessed a $30 return check fee.
Should Rendezvous Dance & Cheer receive two (2) returned checks on an account, the only accepted form of payment from that point on will be cash, money order, or cashiers check.

Please note: Monthly tuition is based on a yearly rate from August - June (40 weeks), and is divided into ten (10) equal monthly payments. Tuition payments average out to four classes each month. The yearly rate takes into account studio closures for Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Breaks. Due to studio closures for breaks, some months have three classes while other months have five classes. However, these closures have been taken into account so that your monthly payment installments remain the same throughout the year.

First tuition payment is due August 25, 2017. Final tuition payment is due May 25, 2018. ANYONE PARTICIPATING IN THE JUNE SPRING SHOWCASE MUST PAY FULL TUITION FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE (DUE MAY 25TH). Students not wishing to participate in the Spring Showcase will have their final tuition payment due April 25, 2018.

Drop Requests & Refunds

Drop Requests must be made by the twentieth (20th) of the month to stop the Auto-Payment for the following month. All requests must be made by completing the “Drop Request Form” available on our website or by emailing the director directly. If you are dropping after the 20th of the month you will be charged on the 25th of that month for tuition due. Of course, you may continue to take class during the next month in this case. There are no refunds of tuition for classes you’re scheduled to attend whether or not you attend the class, and there are no refunds for registration fees (see “Registration Fees” above). 

If you have an annual or biannual account and cancel within 90 days of initial sign-up, you will receive a pro-rated refund of tuition paid minus the current months full tuition. Of course, you may continue to take class during that month in this case. (Example: If you cancel your annual account on October 3 you will receive a pro-rated refund of tuition paid for November - June, and continue taking class during October.) There are no refunds of tuition for classes you’re scheduled to attend whether or not you attend the class, and there are no refunds for registration fees (see “Registration Fees” above). You will not be entitled to any refund if you have an annual or bannual account and you cancel after 90 days.

Tuition does not include the registration fee, dance wear, shoes, costumes, showcase/performance tickets, private lessons, or special events. 

Studio Discounts

Family Discount: Families with two or more participants receive 10% off each student’s tuition.
Discounts will be lost should your dancer withdraw from classes prior to the year end.
